The process
Depth is not an effect. It is a measurement.
A successful 3D conversion is not improvised : it is computed, verified and calibrated. Every frame of your film is analyzed individually to rebuild its depth — what is near, what is far, and everything in between. Then every shot receives its own tuning, with smooth transitions at the cuts, so the eye is never jolted.
Pre-analysis first. Always.
After thousands of measured trials, our finding has no exception : the quality of the 3D is decided before the conversion. Every film therefore goes through a complete pre-analysis first — shot-by-shot segmentation, motion and light measurement, depth probes on test frames — from which the treatment plan specific to your film is born. That is what makes the results remarkable : the computation invents nothing, it executes a decision already made, shot by shot.

CineFlight has been building its conversion pipeline since 2024. Before accepting a first client, we produced thousands of test renders — compared two by two, validated by mathematical analysis, every setting confronted with its rivals on measured test benches. What we deliver today is not a starting point : it is an outcome — the setting the measurements selected above all others.
That work gave birth to a process now covered by a patent application. For you, it means one simple thing : the depth of your film is not produced by a filter you can find anywhere — it is an original process, developed here, in a studio-grade pipeline : 10-bit rendering, per-shot calibration, measured control from the first frame to the last.

- Your files stay with us. They are received and stored on our own servers, never uploaded to a third-party platform. The full details are in our privacy policy.
- They train no model. Your footage is your property, not raw material.

- Your passwords are never stored in clear text. Our servers keep only a cryptographic fingerprint, unreadable even to us.

What people ask before sending.
My video was shot on an ordinary phone. Is that a problem?
No — that is the case for most films we convert. Depth is rebuilt from the content of the image, not captured at filming time. A phone, a camera, a drone or a GoPro all work.
Can I send videos of any kind?
As to subject matter, yes : a wedding, a journey, a drone flight, a performance, a sporting event, an object, a place, an ordinary moment. The method assumes nothing about what was filmed.
Two limits, though, and they are firm. You must hold the rights to the video or permission to have it converted, and the people filmed in a private setting must have consented : it is their memory as much as yours. And we refuse unlawful content — a check runs on every film before any document is produced or any email sent.
These are exactly the commitments you confirm when you send your files.
My clips are not edited. Do you take care of that?
Yes. Send your raw clips in any order, tell us what they are — a wedding, a trip, a celebration — and how you picture the result. We find the best moments and assemble them before conversion. The editing is assessed with the rest, in the same free report.
How much does it cost?
The price depends on the length and content of your footage — that is precisely what the free assessment establishes. You receive the exact amount, shot by shot, before deciding anything. No fee is added afterwards.
Doesn’t 3D tire the eyes?
Badly calibrated 3D does — that is how you recognize it. That is why every shot gets its own tuning and why the parallax of the whole film is measured and kept under the 15 arc-minute comfort threshold. The goal is not for the depth to be noticed : it is for you to inhabit it.
What happens before the conversion starts?
Everything is analyzed first — nothing is converted blindly. Your film is cut into shots, and every shot is measured : its motion, its light, its depth probed on test frames. From that analysis comes a treatment plan specific to your film — which tuning for which shot, where the comfort window sits. The conversion only starts once that plan is established and verified. Impeccable 3D is decided before the computation, not after.
How can my family and friends see the film?
With your delivery you receive a short excerpt made to travel : it carries a QR code and a simple address. Your loved ones get it by message, scan it, and watch — in a headset if they have one, in red-cyan otherwise. You keep control : access opens and closes from your page, whenever you want.
I do not own a headset. Is that a problem?
No. Your film can already be watched without a headset, in red-cyan, in any browser. And to taste real depth without investing : a Cardboard-type viewer — your phone slides in, and the film takes on its depth — can be added to your order at low cost. Simply ask for it with your assessment. Many start that way, and buy a headset once they are won over.
What happens to my files after delivery?
Your delivered film stays downloadable online for two months, included. Working files are then removed from our servers ; an offline backup copy of your final film is kept, for you. Your footage serves nothing else — no training, no demonstration without your consent.
What if I lose my password or my file?
Write to us. The password can be reissued, and the backup copy of your film lets us give it back to you even years later, even if your computer or your phone vanished with it.
Which formats do you accept, and up to what size?
All common video formats : MP4, MOV, MKV, AVI, as well as phone, GoPro and drone files as they are. The upload accepts large files and resumes on its own if your connection drops — no need to compress your videos before sending : the original quality is exactly what we want to receive.
How long does it take?
The free assessment reaches you within about two business days. The conversion time depends on the length of your film : it is stated precisely with the assessment, before you decide.
3D conversion software exists — why go through you?
Excellent ones exist, and we have put several through our test benches. But open one : depth model selection, parallax, convergence, zero plane, edge handling, interpolation, temporal smoothing... dozens of settings, where one misplaced slider can ruin the comfort — and a learning curve measured in weeks. That is precisely where our 1,600 hours of calibration went. So the difference is not the tool : it is the measured tuning of every shot, the editing of your raw clips when needed — and the fact that you receive a finished film, delivered to your headset, not a project to tune yourself.
